Palazzo dei Normanni from the Piazza della Vittoria, Palermo, Sicily, Italy. The Palazzo dei Normanni (Palace of the Normans) was built in the 12th century on top of an earlier Islamic fortress. It was the seat of the Kings of Sicily and today houses the Sicilian Regional Assembly.
