Midway Gardens, Chicago, Illinois, USA, 1915. Postcard showing a night view of Midway Gardens showing hundreds of people sitting at tables in the outdoor plaza. A band performs on the bandstand. Featuring a concert garden, restaurant and dance hall, the Midway Gardens complex was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and completed in 1914. It was demolished in 1929.
