Fleet of Scania lorries, Rotherham, South Yorkshire, 1972. Bryan Thorpe Haulage of Rotherham took delivery of these Scania lorries in the early 1970s as can be seen by the consecutive letters on the number plates. Thorpe's went into liquidation some years later, with Mr Martin Thorpe carrying on with his own company which operated from nearby Mexborough.
