The shop font of the new Co-op central butchery department in Barnsley with their neon signs advertising their fresh meats, chilled meats and their delicatessen, selling continental style sausages. The delicatessen would become a familliar sight over the coming years but its Germanic title must have been a strange sight so soon after the end of the Second World War.
