St Andrews Cathedral and St Rule's Tower, Fife, Scotland, 2009. Completed in 1318, St Andrews Cathedral was once the largest building in Scotland. It was sacked in 1559 during the Reformation afterwards fell into ruin. St Rule's Tower is a remnant of an earlier church, built in c1127 to house the relics of St Andrew, which were brought to the area by St Rule (St Regulus).
