The bouleuterion in Priene, Turkey. A bouleuterion was a building which housed the council of citizens (boule) in Ancient Greece. This particular bouleuterion was built in 150 BC. It was a covered hall with an altar in the middle and steps were used as seats. It was decorated on all four sides with Daphne branches and had a wooden roof.
