Temple of The Mother (Metroon), Olympia, Greece. This late 4th/early 3rd century BC Metroon is situated immediately below the terrace which houses the Treasuries. Olympia, a sanctuary of ancient Greece, is probably best known for having been the site of the Olympic Games in classical times.
