Charles VI of France and Henry V of England welcomed by the clergy, Paris, 1420 (1864). The two kings are welcomed by the clergy as they make their tiumphal entrance to the allied courts in Paris. The Treaty of Troyes, signed on 21st May 1420, recognised Henry (1387-1422) as Charles' (1368-1422) heir to the French throne and as the virtual ruler of most of France.
