Laura La Plante, American actress and film star, 1934. Laura La Plante (1904-1996) was best known for her performances in silent films. Here she is pictured while in London seeking a film offer. She stayed in London for three weeks before going on to Paris. She is with a group of boys who had been catching 'tiddlers' from the Serpentine.
