Houston International Airport, Houston, Texas, USA, 1956. Vintage postcard showing the road leading up to the front of the airport. Previously known as Houston Municipal Airport, the airport was renamed Houston International in 1954. A new, expanded terminal building opened the same year. Limitations on the expansion of the airport led to its replacement as Houston's international airport by Houston Intercontinental in 1969.
