'The Trinity Lavra of St Sergius in Sergiyev Posad', 1910s. The Trinity Lavra of St Sergius is a monastery founded in Sergiyev Posad (Zagorsk) in 1345 by St Sergius of Radonezh. It is one of the most important spiritual centres of the Russian Orthodox Church. Found in the collection of the State Open-air Museum of the Trinity Lavra of St Sergius, Sergyev Possad.
