The burial of Lord Raglan near Sevastopol, Crimea, Russia, 1855. Fitzroy James Henry Somerset, 1st Baron Raglan (1788-1855) commanded the British army in the Crimean War (Russo-Turkish War) of 1853-1856. He was victorious at the battle of Alma, but at Balaclava gave the order for the suicidal charge of the Light Brigade. Found in the collection of the State Museum of the Defence of Sevastopol 1854-1855, Sevastopol.
