Russian author Leo Tolstoy and his wife, Sophia, Russia, 23 September 1910. Tolstoy (1828-1910) married Sophia Andreyevna Behrs (1844-1919) in 1862. They are pictured here on their last wedding anniversary. Tolstoy died from pneomonia just under two months later. Found in the collection of the State Museum of Tolstoy's Estate at Yasnaya Polyana.
