Coronation of King George V and Queen Mary, London, 1911. 'Second day, crossing the Westminster Bridge after visiting south London'. Crowds line the bridge, with flags and a grandstand (bottom left, by the statue of Boudicca), specially erected for the occasion. At top right is St Thomas' Hospital. The coronation of King George V of the United Kingdom (1865-1936) and Queen Mary of Teck (1867-1953) took place at Westminster Abbey in London on 22 June 1911.
