'The Viceroy's Camp at the Imperial Assemblage', January 1877, (1901). The Durbar of 1877, held at Calcutta, (modern-day Kolkata), was called the 'Proclamation Durbar' as its main purpose was to proclaim Queen Victoria as Empress of India by the British.
