Bust of Pope Innocent X, c1690, (1881). Etching of a bronze portrait bust of Giambattista Pamphili, Innocent X (1574-1655), made posthumously by Domenico Guidi in Rome. The sculpture is based on an earlier terracotta model of 1650 by Alessandro Algardi, who was Guidi's master. From "The South Kensington Museum", a book of engraved illustrations, with descriptions, of the works of art in the collection of the Victoria & Albert Museum in London (formerly known as the South Kensington Museum).
