The Bosquet du Théâtre d'Eau in the gardens at Versailles, France, (1903). 'Le Théatre D'Eau Dans Les Jardins De Versailles'. This 'water theatre', one of many groves or bosquets at Versailles, was created between 1671 and 1674 by André Le Nôtre. It consisted of an auditorium with three tiers of turf seating facing a stage decorated with four fountains, alternating with three radiating cascades.
