The late Sir William Follett M.P., 1845. Portrait of British lawyer and politician William Webb Follett, Attorney-General. 'Sir W. Follett could not have a public enemy; there was something so engaging in his whole demeanour that it disarmed even envy. He was favoured with many natural advantages, among which, unhappily, good health could not be reckoned; his countenance was excessively pleasing, his action graceful, and his voice one of great sweetness; this, united to his legal acquirements, and his singular power of making the statement of the most intricate circumstances clear, precise, and intelligible to every one, rendered him one of the very best advocates of the day'.
