Légende

The base is made of semi-translucent orange Bakelite plastic and is circular with a cylindrical handle on its top. The lid (2011.27.2.11b) has black and gold colored embellishments in art deco style. Lena Horne (1917-2010) was an African-American dancer, actress, singer and civil rights activist.
