This document is from a collection of financial papers related to the plantation operations of several generations of the Rouzee Family in Essex County, Virginia. The papers date from the 1790s through 1860. A single page document with notes handwritten in black ink on both sides.The notes consist of a list of names on one side and the enumeration of the number of "men, boys, women and children" owned by the Rouzees' on the other, as well as measurements in yards of cloth.
