The negative register records 'McKinney at Barbican, J. Mowlems site' for this image. McKinney Foundations Limited carried out the pile driving operation on the Phase IV contract; the area behind the Barbican centre. The Phase IV contract was awarded to Myton, a subsidiary of Taylor Woodrow, however a seperate contract for clearing and pile work on this section was given to Mowlem.
