A view of the construction of the Midland Link Motorway, between Junction 13 and Junction 11 of the M6, showing a team of workers gathered around a concrete culvert. The work on the Midland Link section of the M6 Motorway between Dunston to Shareshill (Junction 13 - Junction 11) was carried out by the Civil Engineering Division of the John Laing Construction Ltd. The motorway opened to traffic on March 14th 1966.
