Court 20, Little Park Street, Coventry, 1941. The exterior of numbers 5 and 6, Court 20, accessed between 92 and 93 Little Park Street, showing the roof covered by tarpaulin. Coventry City centre was devastated by air raids in November 1940. The bombing left the cathedral in ruins and destroyed much of the historic fabric of the city. Court number 20 was situated to the rear of Little Park Street which suffered significant damage in the aerial bombardment. Much of the street was demolished in the years following the war. The Magistrates Court now occupies this site.
