Selfridges, Oxford Street, Marylebone, City of Westminster, Greater London Authority, 1953. Two banners with quotes from Elizabeth I and Elizabeth II positioned on either side of a statue of Elizabeth II on a horse, with a portrait of Elizabeth I behind, on the exterior of Selfridges. The two banners which were erected outside Selfridges displayed quotes from Elizabeth I and Elizabeth II which highlighted their different tones when faced with the duty of monarchy. The statue shows Elizabeth II on her horse, Winston.
