Bridlington, East Riding of Yorkshire, 18/06/1949. A group of children with a small child in a pram on a day trip of Laing staff and families to Bridlington. On 18th June 1949, Laing staff from the North East area went on a day trip to Bridlington. The contracts taking part in this outing were Leicester, East Leake, Bolton on Dearne, Stubbs Wood, Office Site, Doncaster, Huddersfield, Carrington's Coppice and Darlington. Mr W. K. Laing and his wife also joined the trip.
