A view of a pushball match, with the ball raised above the heads of the competitors, during the annual Laing sports day at the Laing Sports Ground at Elstree. In 1964 Laing's annual Sports Day was held at sports ground on Rowley Lane at Elstree on 22nd June. Events included children's races, inter-branch tennis, a football competition, an athletic programme, and bowls. The Oxford team won the pushball competition.
