Gloucester, Massachusetts. The bronze fisherman, a memorial to men lost at sea. Each year flowers are placed at the feet of the fisherman and the roll of those lost at sea during the last year is slowly read, and an armfull of blossoms are strewn upon the water, to be carried by the ebb to the unknown graves.
