Lords Cricket Ground, Relief Sculpture, St John's Wood, City of Westminster, Greater London Authority, 2012. The relief sculpture of sportsmen and women outside Lord's Cricket Ground on the corner of St John's Wood Road and Wellington Road. The sculpture was unveiled in 1934. It depicts tennis players, golfers, cricketers, swimmers, oarsmen and footballers in bas-relief. The phrase 'Play Up Play Up and Play the Game' from Henry Newbolt's 1892 poem 'Vitai Lampada' is engraved between the figures. The sculpture is Grade II listed.
