'The New Bard', 6 August 1946, (1947). Princess Elizabeth (future Queen Elizabeth II) is admitted to the circle of the Bards of Wales during the National Eisteddfod of Wales at Mountain Ash. Here she is standing before the Logan Stone, wearing the robe of an Ovate, as she is received into the Order by poet and preacher William Crwys Williams, the Arch-Druid.
