Festival of American Dance, Los Angeles, [193-]. 'Special Performance...Festival of American Dance - Direction and Choreography by Myra Kinch - Music by Manuel Galea - Hollywood Playhouse'. The Federal Theatre Project, created by the US Works Progress Administration in 1935, was designed to conserve and develop the skills of theatre workers, re-employ them on public relief, and to bring theatre to thousands in the United States who had never before seen live theatrical performances.
