U.S.S. Mayflower, between 1898 and 1901. Motor vessel originally built as a private yacht - served in a variety of military, governmental, and commercial roles. Presidential yacht for five United States presidents (T. Roosevelt, Taft, Wilson, Harding and Coolidge). One of very few US Navy ships to have been in active commissioned service during the Spanish-American War, World War I and World War II.
