Fiord of Kangerlic, South Greenland, in the Month of August, 1856. View of '...the Fjord of Kangerluarsuk [also spelt Kajarlik and Kangerlic]...interesting to mineralogists...being the locality in which the rare minerals eudialite, sodalite, and arfvedsonite are found...also [to be] found imbedded in the cryolite fine [were] crystals, of a variety of tantalite, which has not been hitherto seen. In the cryolite, besides the silver lead ore, are also found yellow copper ore, blende sparry iron ore, molybdenum tin stone in fine crystals, arsenical pyrites, fluor-spar, felspar, and quartz'.
