The Prince of Wales shooting otters at Beypore [in India], from a sketch by an officer of the Serapis, 1876. 'The Prince [the future King Edward VII], on his way from Bombay to Ceylon, steamed up the river at Beypore...in his steam-barge, towing a small boat, from which he shot three otters. His Royal Highness did not land on account of the prevalence of cholera in the district'. From "Illustrated London News", 1876.
