Arrival of H.M.S. Serapis with the Prince of Wales at Gibraltar: H.M.S. Swiftsure firing a salute, from a sketch by our special artist, 1876. The future King Edward VII travels via the Mediterranean on his return from a royal visit to India. '...the Serapis, accompanied by H.M.S. Osborne and H.M.S. Raleigh, entered the harbour. She was saluted by the forts and ships in harbour, one of which, H.M.S. Swiftsure, is shown in our Illustration firing the salute'. From "Illustrated London News", 1876.
