The Vöring Foss on the Hardanger Fjord, in Norway, 1858. Travel in Scandinavia. 'Should you be proceeding to Norway, a steamer leaves twice a week for Gottenburg and Christiania; but it is a long, rough, journey, if one penetrate farther into the country, of the grandeur of which the subject of our Sketch - a waterfall 900 feet high, on the Hardanger fiord - is a specimen'.
