Claret-jug presented to S. R. Graves, late Mayor of Liverpool, by the seamen of H.M.S. Defence, 1864. 'We give an Engraving of the exquisitely-chased claret-jug, in silver, presented to Mr. S. R. Graves, late Mayor of Liverpool, and Commodore of the Royal Mersey Yacht Club, by the petty officers and seamen of her Majesty's ship Defence, as a token of their gratitude and affection for his kindness to them during their stay in the Mersey last autumn'.
