The Prince and Princess [future King Edward VII and queen Alexandra], having reached the top of the stairs, are here met by the Mayor of Penzance, Mr. Francis Boase, wearing his official robes, with the Mayoress, who hands to her Royal Highness a nosegay of flowers.
