Paris fashions for February, 1868. 'Fig. 1. Evening Dress. Robe à queue of light blue satin...over it is worn a jupe Marie-Antoinette of rich white lace...The corsage is low, with two rows of white lace falling over the blue satin bodice...Fig. 2. Ball Dress, with under jupe of puffed tulle...The upper jupe, of spotted tulle, is sloped off at the waist and forms a long train. A third jupe Marie-Antoinette...is trimmed with two deep borders of rich lace, and gathered up with wreaths of yellow roses...The low corsage, trimmed with white lace, is ornamented at the waist behind with a cluster of yellow and purple flowers...Fig. 3. Evening Dress, with under jupe of crimson satin, over which is worn a white muslin skirt...The body of the robe is composed of a Spanish corselet of crimson satin...Fig. 4. Robe of dark fawn-coloured poplin, with tight sleeves, and trimmed at the bottom with a deeply-fluted flounce, secured at the top with a biais. Over it is worn a large jacket of similar material, but dotted over with small dark spots, and having long, loose, hanging sleeves, made in front in the form of a mantle, and having a long skirt behind.
