The show-yards of the Agricultural Exhibition of Lower Canada, at Montreal, 1865. View of the ground in Guy Street where the Provincial Agricultural Association of Lower Canada opened its yearly exhibition. 'The sheds formed a square, the centre being occupied with pens for sheep, sheds for cows, and a show-place for the horses, roped in to prevent intrusion upon the judges, who had by no means an easy task'.
