King Hou Chang received praise for his performance in "Piccadilly" in a review of the film published in the New York Times on July 15, 1929. The article says: "King Ho-Chang gives a good performance as the friend of the Chinese dancer. He is said to be a restaurant owner who went into the picture just for amusement, but he appears to be a finished actor".
