The Party of Mohandas K Gandhi (Mahatma) disembarks in London Docks for One of a Series of Round Table Conferences (India), 1931. 'Into a British port there sailed someone whose garb and demeanour made him the most publicised figure of the age. A round table conference had been called in London, to settle in peace the thorny problems of India, and her demands for self-determination.
