Boyce's Cottages, Garratt Lane, Earlsfield, Wandsworth, Greater London Authority, 1880-1900. The exterior of Boyce's Cottages on Garratt Lane. This row of cottages took its name from the owner, Mr A E Boyce. When this photograph was taken, probably towards the end of the 19th century, two of the cottages bear signs advertising John Newbon's removals business. Around this time the Newbon family occupied a number of the houses in Boyce's Row. By the early 20th century the business had moved a short distance along Garratt Lane and by 1916 Boyce's Row had been demolished. Sheringham Court flats now occupy the site.
