Head of a Youth, 1st century B.C.-1st century A.D. Additional Info: Head of a youth. The chin and right side of the face (the nose, lower cheek, and lips) are somewhat damaged. The hair is modeled in thick curls that closely frame his forehead and partially cover his ears. His lips are slightly parted. The head probably comes from a draped statue. Roman, but similar in style to Greek 2nd century B.C. ephebe (youth) sculptures.
