Inkwell, 1st-2nd century A.D. Additional Info: A free-blown vessel of pale blue-green glass. The body is bowl-shaped with a circular opening at the top. Around the shoulder is a flat ring. The applied handle joins the body at both the edge of the ring and at the shoulder. Weathering and incrustation give most of the vessel an iridescence and opacity.
