One-handled Jug, end of 1st-beginning of 2nd century A.D. Additional Info: Free-blown jug of colorless glass, the body achieved through successive marvering, the base having a pontil attached, the top removed from the blowpipe and enlarged with tongs. the surface is decorated with cut diamond-shaped facets incised by pushing the body of the vessel into an abrasive wheel.. The body rests on a small concave foot. A small handle was applied on the middle of the body and drawn up to the upper part of the body. Reassembled with a large fill near the handle.
