Head Vase (Satyr), 2nd-1st century B.C. Additional Info: A vessel in the shape of a bust of a satyr in yellow-orange clay, covered in red glaze. The smiling satyr has curly hair and a long, curly beard. He tilts his head to the right toward his shoulder and draws his eyebrows down over his eyes creating a furrowed brow. The hair is arranged in a curl wave pattern from a central part. The back of the vessel is only summarily modeled and there are pairs of incised lines decorating the base and the neck
