Herm of an Athletic Youth, 2nd century A.D.. Additional Info: Originally belonging to a herm, this bust represents a young, beardless male wearing a headband, the ends of which fall forward over his shoulders. His facial features are markedly asymmetrical, and engraved lines indicate his pupils. The young man has short, curly hair and his ears seem swollen, a motif which perhaps indicates that he is an athlete.
