'The Arrest of Guy Fawkes', 1925. Illustration of a wax tableau at Madame Tussauds, a wax museum founded in London in 1835 by the French sculptor Marie Tussaud. '...the arrest of Guy Fawkes at midnight. The Gunpowder Plot was an attempt to blow up the Houses of Parliament, when Parliament was due to be opened by King James I on 5th November 1605.
