'It Is Pleasant To Think Of [Sir Philip Sidney] Working Quietly With His Lovely Sister In His Glorious Retreat', c1929. 'Sidney solaced his leisure, at Penshurst, by writing, in conjunction with his sister, afterwards the famous Countess of Pembroke, a metrical version of the Book of Psalms; and it was here, doubtless at this time, that his "Arcadia" was begun.
