Painting 'La trahison des images' ('The Treachery of Images') by Belgian surrealist artist Rene Magritte (1929) on display at his retrospective exhibition in the Centre Pompidou in Paris, France. The French inscription 'Ceci n'est pas une pipe' means 'This is not a pipe'. The exhibition entitled 'Rene Magritte. The Treachery of Images' runs till 23 January 2017. After that the reformulated version of the exhibition will be presented at the Schirn Kunsthalle in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, from 10 February to 5 June 2017.
